1. Age of Participation

The comprehensive life skills course is for children aged 4 to 18 years old (those over 3 years old but with quick thinking can still participate)

2. Class Organization

Children will be arranged in classes according to their age (through the entrance test, children with quick cognitive thinking may be arranged to study with children 1 or 2 years older than them and vice versa to be able to keep up with the curriculum in class)

Class organization may not limit the age for some skill courses such as dancing, drawing, painting, presentation or chess or other courses that the center organizes to distinguish between ages.

3. Learning Methods

There are 2 main learning methods at Lingo Group: direct learning and online learning (but Lingo encourages parents to register their children for direct learning to achieve the highest efficiency)

Direct learning is when children will come directly to Lingo Group facilities to study and interact directly with teachers and friends

Online learning is for children who live far away (in other provinces or cities) for some suitable courses such as Presentation, career guidance, or self-discovery.

4. Study Time

The duration of each lesson will last from 1.5H to 2H

Parents can register their children to study on weekends, Saturdays, Sundays or weekday evenings

The most special thing about studying at Lingo Thu Duc is that parents can send their children to study at the center all afternoon or even on Sundays, in parallel with learning languages and skills, the center also has many play areas for children.

5. Training Methods

Each student will be identified by the team at Lingo for their personality, abilities, strengths and weaknesses to have their own method to overcome and promote effectively and comprehensively the thinking, psychology, personality, skills, abilities... of the child.

Taking students as the center and experiencing practical skills and abilities through handling real-life situations, performing arts skills, acting, MC, presentation, teamwork skills, group leadership, confidence in front of a crowd, intelligent interaction..., helping children to be truly confident, assert themselves and supplement the best and most successful life skills for their present and future lives.

6. Typical Skills Courses at Lingo – Training on Effective Presentation/Communication Skills

– Training contents

Training confidence in communication: Politeness, active listening and speaking skills, flexible improvisation, intelligence and problem solving in communication with relationships with teachers, friends, parents...

Training to confidently MC presenting in front of a crowd: Students get real experience on a professional stage.

Training principles of life: principles of dining tables, principles of eating, principles of visiting other people's homes, principles of behavior at school, in public places to ensure politeness, courtesy, awareness, responsibility of oneself...

Training self-confidence: Ability to confidently integrate and adapt to activities in class, school..., proactive in expressing opinions, protecting witnesses, asking teachers when listening to lectures..., solving problems in relationships with friends, teachers in class..., ability to work in groups, manage groups...

Training to control emotions and master oneself: Ability to overcome fear, control anger, solve problems in emotions to avoid pressure...
Overcoming weaknesses: Overcoming weaknesses in thinking, personality, psychology, skills, communication skills for children.

– Commitment after the course

There are separate training methods for each child and detailed consultation on interactive methods for parents to operate and experience with their children at home.

Regularly connect through child assessments after each class with the family to bring the highest efficiency. Parents regularly learn methods and are guided on how to teach their children by experts. If the child does not progress, the child will be able to retake the course for free.
